Indoor and outdoor pools built as part of the architecture, not bolted onto it — with the excavation, structure and services resolved first.

A pool is a building problem before it is a water problem. Excavation, retaining, drainage, waterproofing, humidity control and plant space all have to be right, or the finish will never last. We take responsibility for the construction and coordinate specialist pool installers and equipment suppliers alongside it.

Indoor pools and spa rooms

Pool halls, sauna and spa areas designed into the house from the start, with ventilation, humidity control and structural waterproofing treated as one system.

Outdoor pools and terraces

Excavation, shell construction, surrounding hard landscaping, coping, drainage and lighting — finished so the pool and the garden read as one piece of design.

Enabling and structural works

Dig, retaining structures, reinforced slabs, plant rooms, service routes and drainage. This is where our groundworks capability earns its keep.

Working with specialists

Pool linings, filtration, heating and covers are delivered with specialist partners. We hold the programme, the site and the responsibility for how it all fits together.

Swimming pools — common questions.

Do you build indoor and outdoor pools?

Both. Indoor pools within a new home or extension, outdoor pools with the terracing and landscaping around them, plus pool houses and spa rooms.

Do you do the whole pool or work alongside a specialist?

Either. We build the excavation, reinforced shell, plant room and surrounding structure, and we work alongside the specialist filtration, cover and finish installers when a client has one in mind.

Does a pool need planning permission?

It depends on the site, whether it is indoor or outdoor, and what is being built around it. We will tell you what consents your particular scheme is likely to need before you commit to anything.

Can you build a pool at a house you did not build?

Yes. A good part of our pool work is at existing homes, which usually means careful access planning and protecting what is already there.

Where do you build pools?

Across South Wales from our Blackwood base — Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Monmouthshire, Newport, Caerphilly and Torfaen in particular.

Architect, engineer, quantity surveyor or developer? We build structural pool shells, waterproofing interfaces and enabling works to issued designs.
